Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and follows agile methodologies to meet evolving business requirements, continuously refining and enhancing software to support organizational goals and user needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software solutions with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must have Ability to accomplish complex engineering tasks independently Analytical and problem-solving skills to cope with complex challenges in software engineering Proven track record as a frontend software Engineer Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive web design Experience in React development (including best practices using hooks), and knowledge of build tools like Webpack Experience in designing and testing your code (writing tests for React components and hooks using Jest and React testing library)Knowledge of the latest web accessibility guidelines Experience working with cross-functional agile teams positive attribute and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in banking
Nice to have Experience with developing accessible web applications Experience with hybrid web/mobile applications

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in React.js.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.

The candidate is required to work out of the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days per week, as per the mandate.
