This is a full-time, benefited 9-month faculty appointment responsible for teaching in the JD curriculum. The position affords an opportunity to teach and develop required first-year and upper-level doctrinal courses across both the residential and hybrid JD programs.
Duties/Responsibilities
Teaching and Instructional Responsibilities (95%)
Teach required first-year and/or upper level doctrinal courses.
Teach in residential and/or hybrid JD modalities as assigned.
Develop course materials, syllabi, and assessments consistent with law school policies and ABA Standards.
Provide timely and substantive feedback to students.
Maintain regular office hourse and availability for academic support.
Engage in instructional practices appropriate to hybrid and online learning environments when applicable.
Professional Engagement and Institutional Responsibilities (5%)
Comply with institutional policies and professional standards.
Maintain active engagement within the law school.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited institution.
Experience teaching in legal education or significant practice experience relevant to assigned courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to use Canvas, a learning management system.

Compensation Pay Range
$100,000 - $115,000/annual
The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon the candidate’s qualifications.
