The Facilities Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining building systems, utilities, and operational equipment to ensure reliable, safe, and compliant 24/7 site operations. This role supports the development, coordination, and execution of mechanical, controls, and maintenance services to maximize equipment uptime and asset reliability.
You will be working with key systems include HVAC, the Building Automation System (BAS), and other critical infrastructure supporting laboratory and facility operations. The technician collaborates closely with the Facilities team and cross-functional partners to ensure facility assets—utilities, equipment, and systems—operate efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations.
You will work on-site full-time at our office located in Durham, NC.
Expected full time annual base pay scale for this position is $69K-$85K. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience and location.
This role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including an annual bonus and/or incentives, subject to the terms of the applicable plans and Company discretion. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications.
