What you will do

As the direct contact with the client for site technical service and maintenance issues, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving industrial refrigeration/chiller systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs. You will carry out system PM as per contract requirements communicating clearly findings and any further actions required or recommendations for system improvement, upgrades or optimizations.

This is a mobile position, Monday – Friday with a set on call schedule. Part of your role will be to prepare detailed reports/technical communications on work carried out and submit to JCI & Client as required. Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do. Although often working without accompaniment you will be part of a team and contribute towards its success. This position requires regular drug screenings and background checks.

What we look for

  • 10 years industrial refrigeration and commercial experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives.

  • Universal EPA certification.

  • Experience in working with large refrigeration equipment.

  • Experience with major manufacturers such as Frick, York, Bitzer, Howden, FES.

  • Experience with DX, pumped, flooded, multistage systems.

  • Valid driving license.

  • Understands and analyses relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc

  • Capable of working without documented procedures and with limited supervision.

  • A committed can do positive attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of a team.

How you will do it  

  • You will be assigned primary service accounts and responsibility for executing contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, service requests and recommending necessary upgrades or repairs to prolong the equipment life cycle of our customers equipment    

  • You will establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face to face   

  • You will be expected to provide quote estimates for labor & material repairs and upgrades as needed  

  • You will represent the company by serving as the direct customer contact and be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer’s location  

  • You will be required to use cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, rigging equipment, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair equipment  

  • You will be expected to continually enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions  

  • You will be expected to work as part of a team who is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of service to all its customers which may require the flexibility to work overtime and weekends as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays 

  • You will be added to our on-call rotation, since we are a 24/7 service company.
