What will you contribute?
Filogix is seeking a talented and driven Product Analyst to join our Bucharest team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a team dedicated to shaping the future of mortgage solutions for Canadian brokers, lenders, and industry professionals. As a Product Analyst, you will help translate complex business needs into actionable insights and clear user stories, ensuring our products consistently exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work alongside product managers, stakeholders, and development/testing teams to gather and analyze requirements. Ensure that all user stories are thoroughly defined, achievable, and align with business needs and user goals. This includes conducting user research, gathering feedback, and analyzing user behaviors to refine requirements continually.
User Story Creation: Craft comprehensive, detailed, and clear user stories that capture functional and non-functional requirements for various product features and enhancements.
Product Research & Market Analysis: Stay informed about trends, regulations, and best practices in the Canadian mortgage industry. Translate this knowledge into insights that help guide product decisions, ensuring that Filogix products remain competitive and relevant.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between business, technology, and design teams. Work closely with developers, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure user stories are actionable and align with overall product strategy. Facilitate communication across teams to address questions, resolve conflicts, and maintain alignment on project goals.
Documentation & Communication: Develop and maintain detailed product documentation, including user guides and release notes. Communicate updates, changes, and new product features to relevant teams, ensuring all stakeholders have a clear understanding of product expectations and timelines.
Quality Assurance Support: Collaborate with QA teams by providing clarifications on user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
Product Improvement Recommendations: Gather insights from analytics, user feedback, and industry trends to propose actionable recommendations for product enhancements. Provide input on product prioritization and contribute to roadmap planning to align with long-term company goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
Industry Experience: Familiarity with the mortgage industry, understanding of mortgage processes, regulations, and challenges faced by brokers and lenders.
Technical Skills: Proven technical aptitude, with experience working within software or technology environments. Ability to understand and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
User Story & Documentation Skills: Demonstrated experience in writing user stories and other product documentation that supports development and testing. Ability to clearly define requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures. Strong ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Problem Solving & Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen analytical mindset to assess data, identify issues, and generate actionable insights. High attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of user stories and requirements are thoroughly addressed.
Time Management & Multitasking: Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure consistent progress across multiple projects. Experience working in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience working within agile development frameworks. Understanding the agile product lifecycle and sprint planning processes.
Bilingual (English/French): Ability to speak/read French is a plus, as it enhances communication with bilingual clients and stakeholders.
Product Development Knowledge: A solid grasp of product lifecycle stages, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and continuous improvement. Experience with data analysis tools, wireframing software, or project management platforms is an asset.
