Design, implement, and maintain SAP PP, SAP-PPPI and PPDS solutions, delivering business value through projects, maintenance, and innovations. This includes contributing to the IT vision and business process transformations by delivering solutions for the FTP process area to our global business stakeholders. 

Job Objective

Senior Software Development Expert - SAP Technologies is individual contributor role responsible for design, delivery and maintenance of SAP technical custom solutions across all functions and various SAP technologies. Individual will work with business and functional teams to translate requirements in appropriate solution, define and design technical architecture, breakdown the technical work package, estimate and develop plan for its delivery, develop, conduct appropriate quality reviews, test and document the solution as well as troubleshoot support incidents when needed. As a senior person in team, individual will guide and mentor junior team members on end-to-end development process, functional knowledge and SAP development best practices.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • Extensive ABAP Expertise: Proficient in ABAP Objects – WRICEF, with a deep understanding of custom development for SAP modules like PP, SD, MM, WM, FI/CO, and more.

  • Core Data Services (CDS) & ODATA: Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CDS views and ODATA services.

  • Fiori App Development: Skilled in development, configuration, and integration of custom Fiori apps.

  • Integration Know-How: Experience in integrating SAP with both SAP and non-SAP systems through Web Services, EDI, IDoc, and RFC.

  • SAP BTP Development: Proficient in developing and integrating applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

  • Project Leadership: Proven experience in end-to-end implementations, SAP upgrades, cloud migrations, and S/4HANA conversions.

  • Problem Solving & Debugging: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in SAP environments, with experience in using Service Marketplace.

  • Agile/Waterfall Methodologies: Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments, with knowledge of Scrum and SAFe frameworks.

Additional Desirable Skills:

  • Certifications in SAP development, ITIL, Six Sigma, PMP, or SAFe are a plus, but not required.
