Role Summary
A key team member to our Warehouse and Logistics Operations, the Inventory Coordinator partners closely with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to maintain accurate inventory levels and inventory record integrity across all warehouses within the country. The role supports timely investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies and ensures on-time material availability to manufacturing operations.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
Management of inventory accuracy across all warehouses in country, ensuring inventory records are accurate, complete, and aligned with system transactions.
Partner with 3PL and internal departments to investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
Generate inventory replenishment reports aligned to production plans to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing.
Perform system inventory transactions including stock requests, adjustments, returns, and transfers in accordance with current company policies.
Execute and govern cycle counts and observation counts for both internal and 3PL warehouses with specified regularity, including variance analysis and escalation where required.
Collaborate with the global inventory control team to sustain, update, and improve inventory control procedures and standard operating processes.
Manage requests for new sub-inventories and locators in line with company policies and system governance.
Support inventory audits and compliance activities, ensuring audit readiness and documentation accuracy.
Monitor inventory irregularities such as variances, ageing, and slow-moving stock, and provide regular solutioning and reporting internal stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, process efficiency, and operational reliability.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:
Diploma in Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related operations role.
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, or similar).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis and macro programming.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Preferred:
Experience working with 3PL-managed warehouses.
Exposure to manufacturing or regulated environments (e.g. GMP, ISO).
Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and audit support.
Basic knowledge of inventory best practices, internal controls, and continuous improvement principles.
Experience using WMS or advanced inventory modules within ERP systems.
