Job responsibilities:

  • Fully comprehend MGM and its arts and culture mission and vision, and present its milestones and interpret the artworks in the property convey this vision, while ensure the operation of MGM events and exhibitions and various activities supports it

  • Develop and implement overall strategies on arts & cultural program to cope with MGM branding and commercial direction, optimize annual calendar of happenings

  • Coordinate, develop and implement arts and culture program through working with multiple stakeholders and business units to help achieve objectives of various arts and culture projects, able to initiate creative and innovative concepts and be resourceful in commercial business solutions, Able to organize resources and information together and deliver documents including but not limited to factsheet, program, rundown, script, terms and conditions etc

  • Creative writing and editing for marketing and support marketing plan, including social media, advertisement, and media relations, and ensure quality of the collaterals, tours and other services provided are above standards

  • Take lead in motivating the team on creativity, organization, build rapport with artist and business units including both internal and external to solicit, plan and manage a range of events and projects, from concept, planning, budgeting, sourcing, production, installation, dismantle, financial management, and continual improvement

  • Able to analyze proposals with business insights, and able to organize information in a detailed, holistic, presentable, and accurate manner for the management

  • Able to organize resources and information together and arrange them to factsheet, terms and conditions for Management approval.

  • Monitor activities performances (Above-the-line and Below-the-line), able to make judgement and work closely with the vendors on a timely basis for quality checking and improvement, conduct post-event evaluations to determine future improvement.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in communications, events, marketing, hospitality or related field with experience in commercial environment with proactive attitude

  • At least 4 years’ experience in event, marketing, or hospitality and guest service, with proven track record of leading and supervising events in remarkable scale

  • Presentable, with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with sensitivity to cross cultural needs; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English, Mandarin and Cantonese, ability to communicate effectively at all levels vertically and horizontally

  • Energetic and enthusiastic with Passion for arts, culture, and delivering outstanding visitor experiences

  • Strong time management and organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without comprising quality

  • High sense of responsibility and Strong attention to detail, able to work accurately in a fast-paced, public-facing environment, remain calm in a turbulent environment while demonstrating a sense of prioritization in meeting tight deadline.

  • Proficient computer knowledge required to manage all docs and file format on efficient basis
