Who are we looking for

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead, VP who combines deep technical expertise, delivery excellence, and people leadership to build and scale enterprise-grade data platforms. This role requires a hands-on leader who can architect modern cloud-native solutions, drive large-scale transformations, develop high-performing teams, and foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and accountability.

What you will be responsible for

Engineering & Solution Architecture

  • Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient data platforms leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Design end-to-end solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and modern data architectures.

  • Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for quality, performance, and operational excellence.

  • Drive modernization initiatives across analytics, data engineering, AI, ETL/ELT, and cloud platforms.

Application Development & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead the delivery of complex enterprise-scale programs from concept to production.

  • Partner with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to execute strategic roadmaps.

  • Drive execution excellence through planning, risk management, quality governance, and operational readiness.

  • Champion DevOps, automation, CI/CD, and engineering productivity.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance.

  • Promote innovation through experimentation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement.

  • Enable adoption of modern engineering practices, automation, and AI-driven development.

People & Organizational Leadership

  • Build a culture of ownership, urgency, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Develop and inspire high-performing teams through coaching and constructive feedback.

  • Encourage open communication, healthy debate, and continuous learning.

  • Strengthen team engagement and create an environment where people can thrive and grow.

Business & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build trusted partnerships across global business and technology teams.

  • Influence decisions through strong communication, technical leadership, and business acumen.

  • Align engineering outcomes with strategic business priorities and measurable value creation.

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • 15+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering experience.

  • Strong architecture and design experience across modern data ecosystems.

  • Deep expertise in:

    • Databricks /Snowflake

    • Data Warehousing,ETL/ELT Design & Development, Data Modeling

    • Lakehouse Architectures, Distributed Data Processing

  • Strong programming experience in:

    • Python, Apache Spark / PySpark, SQL, Unix/Shell Scripting, Java (preferred)

  • Experience with one or more cloud providers:

    • AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Architecture & Delivery

  • Proven experience architecting and delivering end-to-end enterprise solutions.

  • Successfully delivered at least two large-scale enterprise transformation programs.

  • Experience with cloud migration, platform modernization, DevOps, observability, and data governance.
