Job Title: Service Market Development Representative

Position Overview:

Our values reinforce our culture of collaboration, growth mindset, and how we serve our customers. You’ll partner with our customers to ensure they have the right instrument plan coverage to provide the best care to their patients each day. You will drive opportunity generation and conversion for the Epredia Service Business revenue growth while increasing market penetration and achieving sales targets. You’ll be responsible for more than just selling. You’ll drive positive experiences by focusing on our top priority: our customers. You’ll work with a variety of stakeholders in a dynamic organization to make a positive impact in the healthcare industry.

Location: This is a remote opportunity. The ideal candidate is located on the Eastern Time Zone.

What you will do: 

  • Manage targeted customer calls, quote inquiries, product inquiries, and documentation requirements to further the growth of the entire Service portfolio
  • Proactively and reactively pursue service revenue; including billable service, lost contracts, and warranty conversions
  • Utilize Salesforce.com and ServiceMax to accurately and effectively track activity and update leads, accounts, opportunity information, and sales funnel for proper management of the territory
  • Work effectively in a coordinated effort with cross-functional service members composed of Field Service Engineers, Field Applications Specialists, and Field Service Managers
  • Research and negotiate within the market to secure service revenue
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed revenue growth objectives
  • Perform sales calls and vendor relations with all customers and potential customers in the assigned territory primarily by phone, but face-to-face customer meetings may be required
  • Develop and maintain effective customer relations with key decision makers such as purchasing and end users within assigned territory
  • Keep informed of new products/services and other general information of interest to customers, incorporating this data in the business plan
  • Support all required legal documentation for securing service business
  • Communicate with leadership any customer issues or potential problems
  • Leverage the sales and field service teams for information, lead generation, and market intelligence
  • Additional point of contact for customer escalations

Qualifications & skills:

  • 2+ years of sales experience with demonstrated results, preferably in the healthcare or service industry
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences or business management is preferred
  • Ability to build customer relationships at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-suite
  • Experience with Salesforce and ServiceMax preferred
  • Must be willing to travel to customer locations, if needed
