At Telstra, we believe in creating better experiences for our customers and each other. We’re looking for a Senior Contract Specialist to join our Commercial Contract Operations team, supporting complex State Government and Enterprise customers.
In this role, you’ll help shape strong commercial outcomes by providing expert contract and commercial advice, managing risk, and enabling sustainable revenue growth. You’ll work closely with Sales, Legal, Pricing, Finance and Service Delivery teams to ensure our contracts are practical, compliant and deliverable.
What you’ll do
Lead the negotiation and management of complex customer contracts, variations and Statements of Work
Provide clear commercial and contractual advice on risk, obligations and deliverables
Review proposals and contract changes to ensure they are commercially sound and aligned to Telstra policies
Develop and maintain Contract Management Plans across the contract lifecycle
Act as an escalation point for contractual and commercial matters
Support resolution of disputes and customer negotiations
Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, customers and suppliers
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated experience managing complex commercial or outsourcing contracts (Government or large enterprise preferred)
Proven experience drafting and negotiating contracts and SLAs
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Commercial mindset with sound financial and risk awareness
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in telecommunications or large enterprise environments is desirable
