Pay Range: $160,000-$170,000

Job Summary: The Vice-President of Sales leads the company's sales efforts, focusing on driving revenue growth, cost management, and overall business sustainability. This role is responsible for strategic sales leadership, working closely with executive team members to develop new business opportunities, implement programmatic initiatives, and ensure the achievement of financial objectives across the company’s hotel portfolios.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Develops and implements comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet financial objectives.
  • Oversees the sales team, providing leadership, direction, and performance management to ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Collaborates with the executive team to identify new business opportunities and strengthen the company's market presence.
  • Analyzes sales performance data, forecasts trends, and adjusts strategies to optimize results.
  • Leads initiatives for cost management and business sustainability within the sales department.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure long-term business success.
  • Ensures alignment of sales activities with company-wide business goals and objectives.
  • Drives innovation within the sales function to capitalize on emerging market trends and customer needs.
  • Prepares and presents regular reports to senior leadership on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manages budget and resource allocation for the sales department to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing sales teams, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer dynamics, and competitive strategies in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation within a sales function.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market conditions to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience working with C-Level executives and presenting strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and MS Office Suite.

Work Environment:

  • Requires occasional travel to meet with clients, attend conferences, and support company sales efforts.
  • Frequently interacts with senior leadership, sales teams, and key stakeholders in person and virtually.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work beyond regular business hours as needed to accommodate business and client demands.
