The Opportunity:

The Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps program is seeking a Functional Tester to be part of a team that improves Marine Corps combat effectiveness by continuing to provide cutting-edge business information.

GCSS- MC is the technology centerpiece for logistics modernization in the Marine Corps that provides accurate, near real-time integrated logistics information and enterprise-wide visibility of logistics data enabling US Marines to make informed decisions while ensuring productivity for more than 22,000 enterprise users across 75 locations worldwide.

GCSS-MC utilizes Oracle R12 E-Business Suite (EBS) Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Oracle 19c Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.

Responsibilities:

The functional tester will be able to write a test plan based on requirements, perform testing, and should have deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the system development life cycle.

• Must have prior experience working with Oracle EBS applications.

• Responsible for Oracle application system and integration test preparation and execution. • Should have good knowledge of technical documentation.

• Responsible to independently create documentation (TE.50), execute system and integration test scripts, including documentation of test results.

• Good understanding of SQL queries. • Good understanding of Agile methodology. • Closely work with product development teams. • Responsible to finish assigned tasks within a Sprint.

Required Qualifications:

Familiarity with:

• Java and SQL

• Oracle Application Support

• Oracle EBS • SOA/BPEL

• Writing or Editing Test Documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Agile Methodology

• Utilizing or Developing Test Automation

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$57,500-$117,900
