About the Working Families Party

The Working Families Party (WFP) is the progressive party for the multiracial working class, fighting for a nation that works for the many, not the few. We recruit, train, and support transformational candidates up and down the ballot — and run them to win.

We believe that no matter where we come from or what our color, most of us want the same things. We want to earn enough to thrive, not just survive, and leave a better future for our kids. We want healthy food and clean water, safe neighborhoods and a safe world. We want to be free.

The Working Families Party is regular people coming together across our differences to make a better future for us all. We’re a multiracial party that fights for workers over bosses and people over the powerful. We want an America which realizes the promise – unrealized in our history – of freedom and equality for all.

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CFO) to join our finance team and support the Chief Financial Officer in strengthening the financial systems and health of our growing organization.
CLASI is undertaking a massive expansion project to expand the services available to our more than thirty hosted projects and client organizations.  The Deputy CFO will be a pivotal member of the team who will manage the implementation of new financial systems and provide change management support for nearly a dozen finance team members.
The Deputy CFO will be pivotal in implementing project management tools, ensuring effective team management, and serving as a competent second-in-command to the CFO. This role is essential for helping to maintain the organization’s financial stability and to  sustain the drive towards being an agile, responsive and accurate finance team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a strong background in financial management, capable of overseeing finance-related projects and ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of all general ledger entries. The goal is to support the CFO in achieving full financial control and sustainable growth by efficiently managing financial operations and enhancing team productivity.
