Position Description
The Digital Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of digital capability initiatives. They lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality capabilities to US Oncology practices. The project manager acts as a central point of contact for projects, guiding them from initial concept to final implementation, and collaborating with various stakeholders such as end users, vendors, and client services. They coordinate all project aspects and facilitate communication between clients, systems, line management, and other departments. Key responsibilities include setting expectations, finding efficient customer solutions, managing project team members, meeting milestones, controlling project scope, and ensuring timely delivery of project outcomes.
The project manager also plays a crucial role in gathering and documenting business requirements, defining project scope and objectives, and creating detailed project plans and timelines. They proactively address project-related issues and develop effective solutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals. Additionally, they create and manage work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports. They are responsible for overseeing vendor tasks, ensuring their integration into the project, and reviewing vendor deliverables. The project manager reports to the Regional VP IT of Network & Digital growth.
