Purpose

This position is responsible for leading and overseeing the financial control functions across the organization. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, developing and maintaining robust internal controls, and directing financial reporting processes. The Senior Director will collaborate with executive leadership and the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and reports.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to finance team members on financial control processes.

Certifications

Education

Master’s degree in related discipline or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and an additional 3 years of experience in lieu of Master’s degree

Experience

11+ years of experience, of which at least 7 leading a team
