What you will need:

  • Board certified in your primary specialty
  • BE/BC for the ABIM Hospice and Palliative Medicine certification exam
  • DEA license
  • Unique or Preferred Skills: 5 years of experience, 10 or more years desired

The successful candidate will be board-certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine have at minimum of 5 years of experience, 10 or more years desired, be a skilled clinician with an emerging national presence and a proven track record of clinical and fiscal program leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and collaborative leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team of well-respected Palliative Medicine providers. Qualified candidates will be proposed for an academic appointment at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

The Endeavor Health Division of Palliative Medicine is comprised of 4 board-certified Hospice and Palliative Medicine physicians, 12 advanced practice providers and a social worker who provide our patients with the highest quality care across 5 hospitals, outpatient clinics and home-based palliative service. We are also integrated with a local hospice program proving both outpatient and inpatient services. The new Division Head will lead the strategic delivery of patient-centered clinical programs and continued academic expertise. Additional responsibilities include clinical patient care, hospice medical director, and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.
