We are delighted to have the opportunity to appoint an Ophthalmology Intern at our multi-disciplinary specialist referral centre.
The Intern will work alongside our Ophthalmology Specialists, Ophthalmology specialist nurse and nursing assistant. In clinic time will be spent supporting the service in consultations, theatre, wards and with diagnostic procedures.   
As well as the practical learning that will come from being embedded within the Ophthalmology team, there will be structured learning with intern seminars and evening CPD events. This position would suit a motivated individual wishing to gain in-depth experience and pursue a further career in ophthalmology. 
The position will be from 12 months, ideally starting in January 2025. 
Candidates should ideally have 1- or 2-years post qualification experience in the UK plus have completed a rotating internship. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.

Salary:£37,000 per annum;
