As a PTP Accountant, you are part of a Business Process Team and will be the pioneer in the setting up of the APAC Finance Shared Service Centre.

We’re looking to recruit a PTP Accountant reporting to the Finance Manager, China based in Shanghai.

This is an exciting role for a person who has strong P2P experience working with a shared service team and can contribute to the success of our newly created Finance Shared Service department in China.

What You’ll Be Doing

The role will partner with the business, customers, and vendors to execute PTP management duties to achieve productivity, quality, and service objectives in the Finance operation area to support the business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and prioritize the workflow within the Accounts Payable and T&E team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments Periodically review and adhere to related policies (e.g. T&E) Ensure PTP month-end closing to meet the deadline. Prepare monthly reports and be able to interpret the defined Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide insight to leaders and execute the relevant mitigation plans to address the identified risk Continuously evaluate operational processes for effectiveness and efficiency and to remove waste, reduce cost and increase quality Bank account management, to ensure bank mandate maintenance in compliance with group policy and internal control. Allocate cash properly within the approved balance before month end to avoid counterparty risk Maintain Vendor Master Data

What You’ll have

• A Degree in finance or accountancy

• Minimum 3 years of working experience with PTP processes with a sizable company.

• Strong in Microsoft Office (Power BI) & SAP

• Experience in using Concur or Kingdee is an added advantage.

• Experience working in a shared service environment is highly desirable.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

• Meticulous and fast learners are key competencies for success.

• Team player and able to work under tight deadlines.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
