Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and mailing monthly customer bills using an automated high-volume billing system. You will ensure the system is maintained for accuracy and efficiency while preparing periodic billing reports and financial statements. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining and analyzing account records.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• Language Skills: Proficiency in both German and English (B2/C1 level).
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), G Suite, and ERP systems.
• Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively within a team and work under tight deadlines.
• Problem-Solving: Capability to analyze complex problems and identify optimal solutions.
• Attention to Detail: High level of rigor and precision in all tasks.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Perform routine billing and month-end close tasks across all Iron Mountain systems.
• Ensure the completeness of monthly billing.
• Ensure that billing processes and internal audit standards are followed.
• Identify potential malfunctions and provide suggestions for improvement.
