Medcan is recruiting for a full-time Clinic Flow Coordinator. The position requires high energy and enthusiasm, an appreciation for detail, an outstanding level of client service and exceptional communication skills. The role is responsible for monitoring and facilitating the flow of clients through the Annual Health Assessment (AHA) Clinic; a 5-hour same-day in-clinic preventative health assessment service that is comprised of up to 15 standard diagnostic tests (stations).

The Accountabilities:

  • Electronically manage in-clinic flow of multiple stations completed during a client’s AHA visit

  • Coordinate with a vast team of medical providers to ensure the client’s visit is productive and effective with exceptional service delivery

  • Act as point of contact for staff and clients navigating their AHA visit

  • Trouble shoot last minute add on services and coordinate with medical team

  • Ensure clients receive maximum value time during their visit

  • Ensure compliance with all service metrics

  • Respond to client issues and enquiries

  • Foster client loyalty by creating a memorable experience

  • Handle client issues in a positive and professional manner

  • Problem solve in a fast-paced environment

  • Other administrative duties as required

 The Requirements:

  • 1 year healthcare experience, or prior experience in similar role

  • Education in health or a related discipline is an asset

  • Strong organization and time management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Intermediate level in MS Office

This is a full-time position currently scheduled 5 days a week between Monday to Saturday located at our Toronto office at 150 York St. The AHA Clinic is open between the hours of 6:30am-7:30pm. Applicants must be available to work in-clinic for an 8.5 hour shift during these hours.
