Director, Cardiovascular Imaging

Position Highlights:
 

  • Director, Cardiovascular Imaging, North Region

  • Locations: North Region (includes Evanston, Glenview and Skokie and Cook County-area sites)

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, off shifts/weekends as required. 24/7 accountability

  • Required Travel: Travel between North region sites required

What you will do:

  • Leads the service line and manages patient/unit populations to achieve identified, evidence-based outcomes.

  • Ensures clinical care in all locations is provided according to NorthShore and industry standards and that financial objectives are achieved.

  • In collaboration with CV Institute/Clinical Operations administrative and physician leadership and hospital administration, is actively engaged in developing corporate and site-specific strategies for the service line.

  • Sets measurable goals and objectives consistent with Endeavor Health corporate goals and CV Clinical Operations/CVI goals.

  • Demonstrates and promotes positive working relationships with physicians, administrators, staff, patients and visitors.

  • Achieves exceptional customer loyalty among patients, physicians and staff. Partners with physician leadership to drives the quality agenda to ensure safe, evidenced-based care is provided at all sites with the best clinical outcomes.

  • Establishes and effectively operates specialty programs to support CV Clinical Operations/CVI objectives. In collaboration with site-specific leadership, the Director is engaged in the selection, development and mentoring of all staff within the service line.

  • Participates and leads clinical, operational and business projects/initiatives within CV Clinical Operations/CVI.

What you will need:

Required skills include:

  • Master’s Degree (MBA or MHA preferred)

  • Current/Previous experience as an Registered Nurse, Exercise Physiologist or Cardiac Sonographer

  • 5+ years of progressive clinical management experience required

  • BLS and ACLS CPR

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must have demonstrated leadership abilities with ability to work effectively with key stakeholders, including physicians, nursing, administrative leadership, front line clinical staff and ancillary departments.

  • Strong business and financial acumen.

  • Proficiency in problem solving, performance improvement, and driving positive outcomes.
