Abbott Weesp is an important location within the Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD). In state-of-the-art production facilities, qualified employees produce raw materials (API’s) for medicines such as laxatives, hormones, and the flu vaccine.

For our pharmaceutical manufacturing site at Weesp, we're looking for a:
 

(Senior) Safety Specialist

What will you do?

• Implement and monitor compliance with regulations and Abbott Technical EHS Standards

• Supporting ISO 45001 Management System activities

• Assessing all technical projects to verify compliance with safety elements and accident prevention capabilities

• Execute risk assessments (process safety, machine security, fall protection, chemical risks, etc.);

• Conducting inspections, internal audits, and safety rounds to monitor safety performance on site

• Leading incident investigations and preparing reports

What kind of knowledge and experience do you bring?

• HBO/WO level Chemical Technology or of comparable technical nature

• Preferably work experience in a similar position and work experience in a production environment

• You speak and write the Dutch language fluently, or are willing to learn, and speak-write English
