ROLE SUMMARY
As part of the Chief Marketing Organization the Manager Paid Social will be part of the Performance Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive paid social strategy across a subset of brands within the Pfizer portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker, as well as hands-on experience. You will be part of our newly created In-House team, collaborating with both internal cross-functional teams as well as external partners to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and managing successful paid social campaigns, and a deep understanding of industry trends.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Support paid social leads in developing strategy with cross-functional teams, to align paid social efforts with overall marketing objectives.
Support the development and implementation of paid social campaigns across all social platforms to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded
Communicate with creative agencies and manage the delivery of all paid social content
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to highlight insights and recommend campaign optimizations
Assist in reporting, including preparing campaign reports, presentations, and insights to showcase performance and recommendations
Assist in the implementation of tagging with social partners, audience creation and management
Support the development of testing plans, hypothesis formulation, and experiment design to drive continuous improvement in campaign performance.
Manage day-to-day operations and budget management of paid social campaigns across multiple social media platforms with hands on expertise
Assist in the quality assurance process, ensuring accuracy of all social media campaigns in market for your brands
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the paid search landscape.
Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and new platform opportunities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS required
5+ years of agency or client-side Hands on Keyboard Social expertise (Healthcare experience preferred but not required); OR a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience; OR PhD with 0+years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices related to each
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment
Strong communications skills and ability to translate concepts for a wide variety of audiences
Understanding of media measurement norms, evolving landscape, and industry standards
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in paid social tools and analytics platforms
Ability to manage budgets effectively and demonstrate a positive ROI
