IT Data Solution Manager - SAP Finance
This is an individual contributor role, IT Data Solution Manager, SAP Finance to work as part of the global Stryker IT Data Solutions team; the role is based in the Gurugram, India. This is a functional SAP expert role who will primarily work with the Data Migration team and global IT Business team in Stryker within our SAP ERP transformation Program.
This functional SAP expert will be responsible for bringing their deep understanding of Finance solutions powered by SAP S/4 and FI/CO (Finance and Controlling) with End-to-end (E2E) data solution mindset. They will functionally own and work to define various master data and transaction data objects for migrating data from various global and local systems into SAP S4 ERP, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and secure, and meets the current and future needs of the business. They will be part of a diverse and cross-functional and cross-cultural team focused on delivering tangible value to SAP ERP transformation program.

What you will do:
- Collaborate closely with IT team, business stakeholders and Data Migration team to own, define and deliver various master data and transaction data objects to support migration of data from various global and local systems into SAP S4 ERP.
- Lead and influence during the design sessions with the IT, business and Enterprise Data Governance teams
- Provide expert functional support towards development of functional and technical specifications for Data Objects by Data Migration team
- Drive alignment with IT and business stakeholders towards identifying target authoritative source of truth for finance and controlling master data such as SAP MDG, Hyperion etc.
- Evaluate master data needs and defines enterprise data & information architecture, including data flows, and master data mappings across sources with FI/CO (Finance and Controlling) focus.
- Map master and transaction data attributes across systems.
- Work with the core principles: Leverage the knowledge base to design and build now, to scale for future.
- Deliver required documentation and other artefacts as defined by the global IT frameworks for Data and Information. This includes owning, creation and publishing of Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) and Business Information Models (BIMs)
- Partner with business and IT key stakeholders to ensure compliance of solution implementation to the intended data architecture and data governance expectations.
- Drive change towards data-driven/informed culture; support and advocate for enterprise information management best practices, including coaching and training.
What you will need:
- Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience with SAP S4 and ECC full life-cycle implementations in FI/CO (Finance and Controlling) as functional expert
- 4+ years of experience working in MDM and MDG projects and solid understanding of MDM and MDG concepts including finance, Business Partner (BP), supplier, customer
- Knowledgeable in the design and construction of Data & Information Flow diagram and architectures between various SAP & Non-SAP applications within SAP ERP Transformation ecosystem
- Exposure to various data modeling techniques e.g., Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), entity-relationship (ER) diagrams
- Flexibility and agility to work with global teams spread over US, Europe, APAC geographies
- Ability to guide and coach junior team members within Data Solution & Migration team
- Experience working with third party IT vendors and/or IT system solution providers
- Ability to actively participate, collaborate and influence in business workshops, stay open and curious, ask questions and think from End-to-End(E2E) perspective
- Experience developing partnerships across IT and business, utilizing strong communication and team building skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control.
- Experience documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format and the required changes.
- Demonstrated understanding of cross-divisional business needs and working strategically with multiple facets of a global business.
