The HP Workforce Experience Platform is an AI-powered digital employee experience solution that can help monitor, optimize, and act on every employee digital touchpoint.
As a Sr. Full Stack Developer in the HP Workforce Experience organization, you'll leverage your expertise in Java, GoLang, Spring Boot, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, AWS, and ReactJS to develop high-performance, scalable applications that enhance device fleet management and employee engagement, for HP's customers. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding a team of talented engineers to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
Drive the development of microservices using Java, GoLang, Spring Boot, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, and AWS technologies.
Create high-level designs and architecture, collaborating with other architects as needed. Explore and adopt new AWS technologies to optimize application architecture and performance.
Design and develop front-end interfaces using React JS and other front-end technologies, adhering to best practices and develop integration with back-end services while prioritizing performance
Debug production incidents related to microservices, authentication, authorization, databases, UI (React), and other components.
Collaborate with product teams to ideate, prototype, and develop new features and functionalities. Proactively take ownership of projects, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives.
Work closely with different teams to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components, optimize UI performance, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Collaborate with remote teams in the US and India on feature development and delivery. Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in software engineering.
3+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Golang, JPA, REST, microservices, SQL, NoSQL, Mongo DB, and web frameworks.
2+ years of experience in cloud-native development, preferably with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
Strong proficiency in ReactJS and front-end development technologies. Experience with UI development best practices, and responsive design.
UI-backend integration: Strong ability to integrate front-end components with back-end APIs and services, considering performance optimization.
Collaboration with UX teams: Experience working closely with UX designers to translate design concepts into functional UI components.
Performance optimization: Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications, including code optimization, image optimization, and caching.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to drive project execution and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Experience working in agile environments and using agile methodologies.
Problem-solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges, think critically, and propose innovative solutions.
Preferred Location: Houston, TX. Remote work from anywhere in the United States is also considered.
Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis both now and in the future without requiring visa sponsorship.
The base pay range for this role is $115,850 to $178,400 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
