Your Challenge:

  • Ensure all work is performed according to the Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Responsible for safe unloading of packages from incoming vehicles.

  • Must collaborate with Sourcing staff for expected and urgent deliveries.

  • Must collaborate with Operations staff to advise receipt of urgent deliveries.

  • Responsible for receiving shipments and signing paperwork, after verifying contents to ensure they are not damaged and the quantities are accurate.

  • Must verify packages according to purchase order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.)

  • Responsible for accurately printing and applying labels, as required.

  • Must process and file the required documents accurately and promptly and responsible for contacting Sourcing if mistakes or discrepancies are identified.

  • Follows every reasonable precaution to ensure work is performed following the Health & Safety procedures. Immediately report accidents and incidents and participate in their investigations.

  • Duties may change, and are not limited to the responsibilities described herein.

What You Bring:

  • Three years experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.

  • Oracle ERP system experience would be an asset

  • Good understanding of safety labelling requirements

  • Experience using lift equipment (high reach, forklifts, overhead cranes and pump trucks)

  • Previous Receiving experience would be considered an asset.

  • Previous exposure to working in a LEAN environment would be considered an asset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
