Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing the Plant Support Engineering (PSE) department. Ensures troubleshooting support, temp mod development, causal investigation of issues, engineering in-field activities, and outage preparation & execution are performed timely and while upholding technical conscious. Develops and maintains technical system and component knowledge within the department.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

• Direction and oversight of the Plant Support Engineering Department
• Development of PSE Supervisors
• Chair and facilitate various meetings
• Serve as a Project Sponsor as required
• Facilitate staffing activities
• Manage and allocate departmental budget to resolve site issues, execute engineering outage activities, and perform analysis
• Develop and facilitate the Equipment Reliability strategy
• Interface with State and Federal regulators to demonstrate continued safe operation
• Determine departmental priorities in accordance with current site needs and corporate leadership vision
• Interface with external review committees

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Technical understanding of nuclear plant regulations, processes, programs, and procedures
• Experience with financial controls, planning and scheduling
• Engineering experience with Design, Systems or Component specialties.
• Plant Certification or SRO Certification/License preferred
