The Project Manager plays a key role in driving the successful deployment of strategic contractor initiatives and mega project activities across EMEA. This position is responsible for supporting sales development throughout both the pre‑sales and execution phases of selected projects.

You will lead detailed project planning, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, oversee on‑site installation activities, conduct site surveys and training sessions, and proactively resolve issues. Acting as the central liaison between customers, internal teams, and third‑party contractors, you will ensure the seamless implementation of nVent solutions.

Pre‑Sales Support:

  • Review RFQs and complex tender documentation to identify business opportunities.

  • Coordinate with cross‑brand stakeholders to prepare a unified nVent proposal.

  • Deliver technical presentations and training for upcoming projects and customer engagements.

  • Be aware of other potential business opportunities when interacting with customers.

  • Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to support solution design.

Project Planning & Initiation

  • Following contract signature, develop a comprehensive project plan outlining tasks, timelines, milestones, and ownership.

  • Define project scope and objectives, and lead kickoff meetings with internal teams (engineering, manufacturing, logistics) and external contractors.

  • Ensure all required permits, site access, and compliance requirements are secured in advance.

Resource & Schedule Management

  • Coordinate manufacturing and delivery schedules with the supply chain team to align installation timelines.

  • Schedule and manage field resources, including “certified” installation partners for on‑site electrical work.

On‑Site Coordination & Supervision

  • Be present on-site during critical installation phases to oversee progress.

  • Verify that installation activities comply with approved design documents and technical specifications.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer’s site manager, providing updates and addressing on‑site requests.

Commissioning & Project Handover

  • Inspect and validate completed installations and prepare commissioning assistance reports for the customer.

  • Document project closure, capture lessons learned and archive all project materials for future reference.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience managing technical or industrial projects.

  • Previous experience with electrical installation projects is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent project management capabilities, with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills!

  • Flexibility to travel across Europe as required for project execution.

  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are an advantage for local site coordination.
