Benefits Program Manager - Americas Region

As our Benefits Program Manager for the Americas, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our health & welfare plans, retirement plans, and wellness programs. Your expertise will help support shaping the benefits landscape to align with our comprehensive Total Rewards strategy, directly impacting our desired business outcomes. This role calls for a dynamic individual who is passionate about working as part of a team to craft top-tier, scalable benefits solutions that not only meet industry standards but set them.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic Implementation and Management: Support and manage the day to day design, implementation, and communication of our benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with our organizational goals.
- Vendor Partnership: Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with our benefits administrator, consultant/broker, and other third-party vendors to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Program Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of our diverse benefits offerings, from health plans to retirement solutions, ensuring seamless administration and exceptional participant experiences.
- Stakeholder Support: Offer expert guidance and support to HR teams and managers, addressing benefits-related queries with precision and empathy.
- Customer Excellence: Deliver outstanding service to all program participants, characterized by compassion and responsiveness.
- Innovative Leadership: Support the analysis of industry trends to develop and implement innovative, “best in class” benefits programs that are both scalable and impactful.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all benefits programs comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA, through diligent coordination with legal and internal teams.
- Communication and Education: Support the creation and distribution of effective benefits communications and training to enhance employee understanding and engagement.
- Academic and Professional Experience: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, supplemented by at least 6 years of experience in benefits management.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with HRIS platforms like Workday and Oracle. Proficiency in Workday is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive Benefits Knowledge: Extensive experience with North American benefits programs, including health, wellness, and retirement plans, and an in-depth understanding of plan administration complexities and regulatory requirements.
- Project Management Excellence: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work flexibly, both independently and within a team, demonstrating proactive engagement and a strong customer service orientation.
Additional Requirement:
- Hybrid Work Structure: For individuals residing within 75 miles of our headquarters in San Jose, this position is considered hybrid, requiring you to be onsite three days per week to foster collaboration and productivity.
- Remote Work Flexibility: For those designated as fully remote, you will be required to visit the headquarters once a month to maintain alignment and participate in key activities, such as annual open enrolment fairs and cycles.
