For one of our brands – Dematic - we are currently looking for SAP ABAP Developer, who will support SAP Logistics Solutions Team and contribute to innovative solutions that it implements. As part of a growing team of SAP EWM development experts you’ll implement complex logistic requirements based on the SAP platform.
This includes automatic components, e.g. Shuttles, Conveyors, Cranes or Robots, as well as manual logistic processes. Our target is to optimize the overall supply chain as well as the daily work environment for our customers.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your Responsibilities:

• Development of software with ABAP/OO for projects with SAP EWM/MFS and ABAP/4 for SAP WM projects

• Conduct commissioning and Ramp Up on site (domestic / international)

• Conduct performance tests / examine system performance within the delivered software / system

• Being part of a project team during realization and integration/testing

• Detailed documentation of developer tests, faults, technical specifications, and trainings

• Design and development of software solutions according to Dematic established software standards, guidelines and procedures

• Assist project and technical engineers to integrate the more complex software components into Dematic warehouse systems

• Perform software tests

• Continuous improvement of the SAP Namespace / AddOns

• Estimate time to complete of new and existing development tasks

• Lead a value engineering approach to ensure cost efficient solutions are designed that achieve company goals for profit, service and support

Technology Stack you will work with:

• SAP ECC system (module EWM) with ABAP stack

• SAP S/4 Hana

• XML / HTML5 / JSON / SOAP / REST / JavaScript

• Version Control: ABAPGit, GitLab

• IDE: Eclipse, VS Code, SAP Development Studio

• Jira, Confluence

Your Skills and Expertise:

• Very good level of knowledge regarding ABAP OO / ABAP4

• Knowledge of SAP specific technologies (tRFC, qRFC, bgRFC, oData, ABAP WebServices)

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems; automated warehouse processes and intralogistics

• Interest and motivation to upskill in EWM

• Knowledge of SAP Enhancement techniques (implicit/explicit Enhancements, BAdI, User-Exits, modifications)

• A Bachelor’s degree with a major in Informatics

• English – fluent

• Polish – fluent

• Willingness to travel across Poland – approx. 20%
