Job Description

The Position

We’re looking for a strategic and technically adept Technical Lead to drive the vision and execution of our comprehensive Analytics Platform. This platform serves as the foundation of our data strategy, uniting three essential domains: data analytics foundation, data science and decision intelligence platforms. In this high-impact role, you will lead engineering efforts across Analytics platforms—driving the architecture, development, and evolution of scalable, reliable, integrated and high-performing systems.

You will be responsible for setting technical direction, establishing best practices, and ensuring that our analytics infrastructure can support a growing volume of data, increasing complexity, and evolving business needs. As a key technical voice, you’ll collaborate with engineering, product, architecture and business leaders to co-create data capabilities that unlock insights and drive smarter, faster decision-making.

This is more than a technical leadership role, it’s a chance to shape how data flows, how it's transformed into knowledge, and how that knowledge powers decisions across the organization. You'll influence platform-level decisions, evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies, and mentor engineers to grow their craft and deliver with excellence.

What will you do?

  • Lead the technical vision and delivery of the enterprise-wide Analytics Platform, spanning data analytics foundation, data science and decision intelligence.
  • Drive engineering efforts by enabling scalable data ingestion, processing, and data engineering, deployment and operationalization of machine learning models, and intuitive and impactful data visualization and reporting capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority for the platform, ensuring architectural integrity, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product managers, architects and other leaders to deliver impactful data solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and guide the development of platform features and enhancements.
  • Set and enforce engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and code quality standards.
  • Evaluate and integrate modern data technologies to future-proof the platform.
  • Mentor and guide engineering team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Play a strategic role in shaping the platform roadmap and aligning it with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven track record (5+ years) in leading engineering teams and delivering large-scale analytics platforms or data systems
  • Extensive hands-on experience with modern data architecture, including ETL/ELT processes and cloud data platforms
  • Strong background in data engineering pipelines, data science workflows, machine learning model deployment, and integrating AI/ML capabilities into production systems
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms, or equivalent for visualizing and reporting on large datasets
  • Expertise in data storage, compute, engineering and integration frameworks
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages and proficiency in data processing and transformation
  • Solid understanding of cloud technologies, containerization and DevOps practices
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, both relational and non-relational
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing strategic direction across engineering and business units
  • Ability to balance technical decision-making with business objectives, guiding teams to deliver high-impact solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to mentor and grow junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering culture
