There is never a dull day at Dexcom and our tax team are at the centre of things.
We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join Dexcom’s friendly, supportive and truly global Tax & Treasury team. This role is based in our state-of-the-art office in Bengaluru, Karnataka and will be responsible for our Indian tax compliance obligations. The role would report to our APAC Indirect Taxes Compliance Manager, whilst also supporting our Direct Tax and Treasury colleagues in meeting their obligations in India.
This role is critical to maintaining the success of the Tax & Treasury Department and will support the rapid growth of the Dexcom business by ensuring that our Indian business remains compliant.
Where you come in:
You will prepare indirect tax returns and forms for review by our APAC indirect tax compliance manager and submit them and the payments by the relevant deadlines (GST, TDS etc)
You will support the preparation and review of direct tax obligations including corporate income tax filings, quarterly estimated corporate tax payments and transfer pricing documentation
You will gather all supporting documentation for Indian tax returns and implement compliance checks to ensure accurate submissions and robust compliance
You will support Accounts Payable team in executing foreign payment processes, including the preparation and submission of 15CA/CB forms, supporting enquiries on classification of payments for GST and TDS purposes
You will reconcile tax GL accounts, including identifying and explaining any variances for review by our APAC tax compliance managers
You will prepare and review documentation to support audit enquiries
You will support and provide input to projects, including IT testing
You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax developments in India, highlighting any relevant changes to APAC tax compliance managers
You will carry out other duties as assigned by management
What makes you successful:
You have prior background in an Indian tax compliance role with experience of GST, TDS and direct taxes
You are familiar with Oracle, SAP or another major ERP system
You have experience with Indian e-invoicing requirements
You focus on detail and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You can communicate effectively in English
You are adept at multi-tasking and dealing with competing deadlines
You have an excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience.
