PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION  

The position is part of the Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) Group within T. Rowe Price and will report to the Head of ETF Specialists. The Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) business at T. Rowe Price is a relatively new segment within the organization but is an area with rapid innovation and growth. The Senior ETF Specialist will partner with sales associates across Global Distribution to promote T. Rowe’s ETF capabilities with investors and represent the ETF business in internal and external forums. This person will cover the Central US or West Coast territories.

  

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Serve as a senior member of the ETF Specialists Team with a focus on investor education and represent the ETF business in internal and external forums.
  • Partner with sales associates across Global Distribution (intermediary and institutional) to serve as a subject-matter-expert on ETFs and promote T. Rowe Price ETF capabilities with investors.
  • Play a key role across distribution organizations in supporting investor inquiries and sales opportunities related to T. Rowe Price ETFs.
  • Participate in both internal and external speaking opportunities (webinars, industry conferences, trainings, etc.).
  • Partner with Investment Teams to promote and position T. Rowe Price ETFs in market.
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to enhance and deliver T. Rowe Price’s ETF narrative and content production.
  • Communicate ETF investor needs with key internal stakeholders throughout T. Rowe Price.
  • Develop processes and tools to engage with various sales teams in a systematic, scalable manner (e.g. leveraging CRM and content management system).

QUALIFICATIONS  

Job Requirements:

  • College degree required and advanced degree or designation (MBA, CFA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of ETF experience, preferably more than 10 years.
  • Exceptional communication skills including written, verbal, and delivering presentations.
  • Deep understanding of the ETF ecosystem across capital markets, research, and distribution.
  • Experience with the U.S. asset-management distribution landscape including Broker/Dealers, Registered Investments Advisors, Banks, and Retail Platforms
  • Proven ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to drive results and operate independently.
  • In-depth knowledge of ETFs and competing investment vehicles such as mutual funds, separately managed accounts, etc.
  • Ability to travel (>50%).

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses Series 7 and 63 are required and will be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for full time remote work.

Regional Requirements:

Base salary range:

$180,000 - $200,000 USD for the locations of: Colorado, State of Washington, California and New York

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
