Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will act as team lead while developing and designing application testing methodologies. In this role, you will perform application automation testing, prepare reports, document testing results, and coach and mentor team members.

The Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)  role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Create automated test scripts for UI, API, integration, and regression testing.
  • Implement test execution pipelines within GitLab CI/CD.
  • Build and manage cloud-based test environments on AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies.
  • Analyze test results and drive defect resolution.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Establish best practices in test automation.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 4 years of hands-on test automation experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java.
  • Deep experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Solid understanding of AWS services.
  • Experience with GitLab and CI/CD workflows.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API testing tools.
  • Familiarity with BDD/TDD and Agile methodologies.

Desired Experiences

  • Experience with Docker.
  • Knowledge of performance testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Understanding of monitoring/logging tools in AWS.
