Team / Role Overview
This is an intermediate level position within the Middle Office Oversight team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all OTC & Loan transactions originating from client trading desks in coordination with the Gurgaon Middle Office Operations team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance of any transaction capture exceptions, assisting with OTC & Loan cash settlement and trade confirmations and the general investigation of client securities and derivatives transaction issues as they arise.
What you will do:
• Assist with the investigation and resolution of any trade capture issues that may arise, ensuring that all client OTC & Loan bookings are captured successfully each day.
• Ensure all OTC & Loan trade bookings are fully confirmed to with the counterparties, leveraging Markit Trade Manager & Clearpar.
• Approve and process all bilateral OTC cash settlements and adhere to all MPP guidelines.
• Coordinate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
• Perform daily reconciliation processes and investigate all breaks that arise thoroughly
• Actively participate on recurring service calls, both internally and also with our clients. Escalate matters promptly and see all issues through to resolution.
• Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities in accordance with established policies
• Prepare and submit periodic internal and external reporting based on the departments activities for the month.
What we'll need from you:
• Relevant fund administration experience preferred
• Fundamental understanding of OTC derivative products such as swaps and options.
• Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
• Experience with payment processing or transaction processing/confirmation an advantage
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
