More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Junior Commercial Quote Engineer in Eindhoven with Signify. You’ll be responsible together with the sales organization translate the need of customers into a complete lighting solution.

• You’ll support the sales organization by managing the bid / quote / pricing process in order to provide high quality quotation proposals ensuring they are compliant, competitive and meet the company growth and profitability targets

• You'll support sales and our customers by choosing the proper technical solution for their project.

• You’ll gain a very good knowledge of our company products, systems and services (lifecycle services, light-as-a-service, circular lighting, ...)

• You’ll follow up lighting projects from pre-order until execution

• You’ll interact directly with our B2B customers

• You’ll collaborate effectively and efficiently with internal stakeholders (sales, lighting design, product marketing, factories) and external stakeholders (customers, specifiers, installers …)

• You’ll actively participate or drive projects to ensure continuous improvement towards our customers.

More about you

• You 're owner of a master’s or a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business orientation, or you already have some experience in a commercial and/or technical customer-service role.

• You're willing to learn the bid /quote & pricing process, this is an amazing opportunity for fresh graduates!

• You're a Dutch native speaker, with very good knowledge of English

• You've excellent communication & stakeholder's management skills

• You're eager to work within a commercial team

• You're able to demonstrate a pro-active problem-solving mindset to exceed customer expectations
