Job Description Qualifications:

BDS Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers' division is hiring multiple Business Operations Specialists levels (3/4) as we stand up a Business Operations team to bring more efficiency and predictability to our Programs through data-driven business disciplines.

Position responsibilities:

  • Assists in the operationalizing, implementing and integrating of program business requirements
  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals
  • Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case
  • Supports the coordination of the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
  • Presents plans to executive leadership to gain approval and provides implementation direction once approved
  • Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance
  • Utilizes the management systems, processes, and data analytics to provide insights on performance to committed plans
  • Utilizes data analytics to forecast performance to committed plans and consults with leaders on strategic opportunities
  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution
  • Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
  • Knowledgeable of how the business and organization operates; knowledgeable of policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization
  • Ability to understand the big picture and the interrelationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area
  • Assists in acquiring resources for projects and processes, and collaborates on process improvements


 

Hybrid (minimum of 3 days on-site), subject to change to 5-days on-site as business requires.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Level 3 Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for Executives or Senior Leadership
  • 3+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management
  • 3+ years of experience with business integration
     

Level 3 Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • PMP Certified or experience with Boeing's Program Management Best Practices or equivalent program/project management experience
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals

Level 4 Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years' experience, skill, and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data
  • 3+ years’ experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior management, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge relevant to Boeing Production Systems

     

Level 3 Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 4 Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+7 years' related work experience, 15 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range lvl 3: $81,600 - $126,500.

Summary pay range lvl 4: $100,300 - $156,400.
