Pay Range

$19.00 - $19.00

This is a 5-week intensive internship commitment, requiring daily attendance Monday-Friday 8-5pm from June 30th to August 6th. Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.

This opportunity provides practical work experiences to college students assigned to various departments. Each department will develop job standards and guidelines for the position.

The MedXplore Program is an immersive, five-week summer internship and job shadowing experience, offering 200 hours of hands-on training in a hospital setting. ​

  • The program is designed to provide real-world exposure to healthcare culture, professional expectations, and career pathways.​

  • Throughout the internship, students engage in a comprehensive curriculum with exposure to a wide range of healthcare professions and experiences, helping them build valuable skills and make informed decisions about their education and future careers.
  • ​To reduce financial barriers, all interns are paid to support their participation.​

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities are assigned based on area of concentration.

  • Receives exposure to various aspects of health care from the view of the area of concentration.

  • The incumbent is responsible for adhering to established Service Standards.


Required:

  • High School Graduate.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
  • Grade point average of at least 2.5
  • Commitment to the full five week program.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal,

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.

  • Strong teamwork skills.

  • Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.

  • Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
