DESCRIPTION: The PCB Repair Supervisor is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the Executive Director, Foundry Academy & Repair, the PCB Repair Supervisor will be the critical leader ensuring efficient, high-quality repair operations within the manufacturing warehouse, driving the team to meet production goals while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The PCB Repair Supervisor is responsible for leading the PCB repair team, ensuring that all operations are efficient, compliant with industry standards, and aligned with company goals. This role involves overseeing daily production activities, developing team members, and driving continuous improvement to maintain high-quality standards and achieve operational objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Leadership & Team Development: 

  • Provide strong, consistent leadership to the PCB repair team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 
  • Motivate the team with a productivity-centric approach, ensuring alignment with company goals. 
  • Set clear performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and support the professional growth of team members through training, counseling, and development opportunities. 
  • Encourage open communication and actively address team concerns, suggestions, and grievances to maintain a positive and productive work environment. 
  • Lead by example, motivating the team to align with company goals and maintain high performance levels. 

Safety & Compliance: 

  • Ensure that the team adheres to the company’s safety, health, and environmental standards, including compliance with OSHA regulations. 
  • Promote a strong safety culture by raising awareness of safety practices and ensuring that any safety incidents are promptly investigated and addressed. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary. 

Operational Excellence: 

  • Review inventory and production schedules regularly to meet the Repair Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning goals, aligning resources to meet operational demands. 
  • Ensure that production targets are achieved through effective supervision, transparent communication, and efficient planning, organization, and allocation of work. 
  • Continuously monitor process performance, identifying and resolving any production or shipping issues to maintain smooth operations. 
  • Leverage process and productivity management knowledge, including LEAN, Six Sigma, and Toyota operation systems, to drive continuous improvement. 

Process Improvement & Cost Efficiency: 

  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), continuously improving the skills and knowledge of the repair team to optimize performance. 
  • Contribute to cost efficiency by monitoring and controlling the use of materials and resources, minimizing waste, and ensuring that equipment is operated efficiently. 
  • Actively seek and implement process improvements and cost reduction opportunities, keeping the team informed and engaged in achieving these goals. 
  • Manage P&L (Profit and Loss) responsibilities, focusing on effective cost management to optimize financial performance. 

 Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience. 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience, with two (2) years in management, and a strong mechanical aptitude. 
  • Operations and team administration experience required. 
  • Electronics and hardware knowledge and experience is required. 
  • P&L experience, specifically in cost management, is essential.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. The employee must frequently walk on uneven surfaces and climb ladders and catwalks at elevation. The employee must occasionally access and work in close quarters and confined spaces. 

Preferred Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Prior experience leading a Bitcoin mining equipment hashboard repair facility is preferred. 
  • Process and productivity management knowledge, particularly in LEAN, Six Sigma, or Toyota operation systems, is strongly desired. 

The salary range for this role is ($70,000-$90,000). This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This range only includes base compensation and does not include other tangible benefits such as 401K match, bonuses, overtime pay, and other benefits.
