Mgr, Mfg/Ops - Aircraft Delivery Manager

Our company, PWAEI Services Germany GmbH, is part of Pratt & Whitney and the RTX Group.

We provide on-site support to our customer Airbus. In order to continue to cope with our growing workload, we are looking for new employees.

We are looking for a Delivery Manager at our Hamburg Finkenwerder site for deliveries of our PW1100G-JM / Advantage engines to Airbus and airline end customers.

We would like to fill this varied position in a pleasant team with immediate effect.

Your Role:

Delivery support to Airbus from the arrival of the engines at the FAL through to Aircraft delivery.

The position is to coordinate with the technical, quality, production coordination, materials and the mechanics teams to resolve engine related issues to support the on-time delivery of aircraft to the final customer.

What sets you apart

• Engineering background, Turbofan engine proficiency
• An enthusiastic, independent and well-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Languages: Fluent in German (C1), excellent command of the English language(C2) is required for conference calls, written reports, customer presentations & negotiations
• Able to build and maintain relationships with Airbus and Customers as required
• Previous experience of working with Airbus or other airframer, or airline customers is a plus
• Ability to prioritize issues with regards to supporting Airbus and Customer requirements, in particular apply proactive measures from Customer experience to anticipate expectations.
• Leadership and coordination strengths
• Work effectively to resolve conflicts quickly
• Understand technical manuals
• Evaluate a parts conformance based on provided manual limits independently
• Pursue opportunities for process improvement & follow-up implementation.
• Valid EU driver's license class B
