Inside the Role

The Connectivity Product Strategy Lead shapes and drives the multi-year product strategy for DTNA’s Connected Services Group portfolio. This role synthesizes market, customer, competitor and technology inputs into a clear strategy, roadmap and recommendations, while leading cross-portfolio initiatives that impact connectivity, digital products, and services. Reporting directly to the Director, Connected Vehicle Solutions, this position is a critical interface across the Fleet Services Group as well as with cross-functional partners and stakeholders within DTNA and globally.

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Own and evolve the CSG connectivity product strategy and long-term roadmap, defining strategic themes, portfolio bets, and prioritization with clear governance and stakeholder alignment.

  • Lead and support strategic initiatives across FSG as well as cross-functionally within DTNA and global teams, facilitating critical partnerships and driving to results.

  • Develop data-driven business cases for new products, markets, or partnerships, including addressable market, pricing/packaging hypotheses, and investment/ROI analysis.

  • Facilitate and translate voice of customer, industry trends, regulatory/technology shifts, and competitive intelligence into actionable requirements and differentiated product positioning.

  • Benchmark competitors and assess partners in the connectivity ecosystem to define opportunities and threats and drive build/partner/buy decisions.

  • Partner with commercialization teams to advise go-to-market strategy, launch plans, enablement, and success measurement for new capabilities.

  • Create executive-ready narratives (presentations, dashboards) that answer operational and strategic questions with forward-looking insights and clear recommendations.

  • Travel occasionally to partners, dealers, and fleet customers (estimated 10–20%).

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, management consulting, strategy & operations, program management, or related roles.

  • Demonstrated experience building and communicating product strategies/roadmaps to drive critical decision making.

  • Superb communication skills and ability to build partnerships across the organization, fostering alignment and influencing both working level and leadership stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills: market sizing, financial modeling, KPI definition, and ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights.

  • Experience gathering and translating voice of customer into product requirements and strategic recommendations.

  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft apps

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience with commercial vehicle connectivity, telematics, digital products, or fleet services; understanding of OEM/fleet ecosystems.

  • Experience with agile/SAFe delivery models and partnering with engineering teams to translate strategy into executable backlogs.

  • Experience with B2B/B2C products and end-to-end product lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with data visualization/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and product analytics.

  • Experience evaluating emerging technologies and associated service offerings, including partnerships and platform integration patterns
