The Data Analyst will support the International Merchandising team by managing data collection from different business partners and models, building and maintaining automated reporting systems, and ensuring data accuracy across international markets. This role will be responsible for developing data pipelines and reporting tools and collaborating with regional teams to support data-driven decision-making across Joint Ventures, Subsidiaries, and Distributor channels.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

  • Distributor Communication & Data Collection: Communicate and follow up with Distributors regularly to collect sales/inventory data and ensure the accuracy of information

  • Data Cleaning & Quality Assurance: Clean and validate raw data from international markets, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors across Joint Ventures, Subsidiaries, and Distributor channels

  • Process Development & Automation: Manage and implement automated data cleaning, transformation, and reporting systems to improve efficiency and reduce manual processing time.

  • System Optimization & Maintenance: Continuously evaluate and improve existing data processes, troubleshoot issues with automated systems, and monitor performance to ensure optimal functionality. Maintain and update files on company software to ensure data integrity and accessibility

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with the Data and Analytics team, regional teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement effective automated solutions while ensuring data quality and compliance

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Python programming for data cleaning, transformation, and report automation

  • Power BI, Power Pivot, and advanced Excel for dashboard creation, data modeling, and automated reporting (pivot tables, V-lookups, macros, and basic programming)

  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, report scheduling, and data validation methodologies

  • Data visualization and quality assurance best practices

  • Data governance and compliance understanding for international data handling

  • Basic understanding of data management principles

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

  • Problem-solving mindset is critical for identifying inefficiencies and designing creative solutions to complex data challenges

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

  • Excellent communication

  • Proactive, takes the initiative to drive business and think outside of the box

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

  • Bachelor's program in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field

  • Prior experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) through academic projects or previous internships is a plus

  • International data experience: Demonstrated experience working with data from multiple countries, including handling different date formats, currencies, languages, and time zones

  • Proven track record of identifying manual processes and successfully implementing automated solutions

  • Experience implementing new automated processes and managing organizational changes, including user adoption and training

  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders across different departments, regions, and business models

  • Large dataset management and hands-on experience processing and cleaning large, complex datasets from multiple sources

  • Experience building and deploying data systems that others rely on for daily operations

The pay range for this role is $71,000-$75,000/yr USD.
