Summary

The Strategic Initiatives role supports the Chief Strategic Officer in driving the company’s most critical growth, profitability, and operational initiatives. This individual will serve as a centralized coordinator and analytical partner—ensuring that cross-functional strategic programs are clearly defined, rigorously tracked, and effectively communicated to executive leadership and the Board.

The role blends project management, data analysis, and executive communication, requiring strong analytical skills, comfort working across senior leaders, and the ability to translate complex initiatives into clear, actionable narratives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Initiative Management

  • Support planning and execution of enterprise-level strategic initiatives tied to revenue and EBITDA growth
  • Align detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk registers for priority initiatives
  • Assist with cross-department collaboration to ensure alignment and accountability
  • Track initiative Role progress, identify risks or delays, and partner for mitigation strategies

Performance Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze performance data related to growth initiatives, unit economics, and operational efficiency
  • Build Excel-based models, dashboards, and trackers to monitor KPIs and initiative outcomes
  • Partner with Finance and Analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Synthesize insights into clear, decision-ready recommendations for senior leadership

Executive & Board Communications

  • Help build high-quality PowerPoint presentations for executive leadership and Board meetings
  • Translate complex data and multi-workstream initiatives into concise, compelling narratives
  • Prepare executive briefs, updates, and strategic summaries for C-suite consumption
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, metrics, and storytelling across strategic initiatives

Strategic Program Support

  • Assist the CSO with ad-hoc strategic analyses, business cases, and special projects
  • Support annual and long-range planning processes
  • Help establish and evolve standardized tools, templates, and governance for strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in strategy, analytics, corporate development, or a related field
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, multi-site or growth-oriented organization
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior leadership

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (models, formulas, pivot tables, scenario analysis)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with strong executive-level presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to see the “big picture”
