About the Role

This role supports the manager of Network Expansion team by developing and managing provider networks and vendor relationships for new and existing sites.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing/managing relationships with targeted hospitals and healthcare providers. 
  • Negotiate cost effective contracts in compliance with all providers, and corporate requirements. 
  • Manage/negotiate medical claims for non-contracted providers in established markets. 
  • Specific projects/data analysis as directed by Medical Network Development. 
  • Provide support for pre-bid assessments for the business development team, securing Letters of Intent and establishing preliminary relationships. 
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation for all hospital/provider contracts and assisting with providing information for audits. 
  • Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations. 
  • Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations. 
  • Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details. 
  • Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis. 
  • Must be able to communicate with both public and private stakeholders. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Assist channels for various healthcare related events if needed.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Three to five (3-5) years of Managed Care/Healthcare experience 
  • One to three (1-3) years of experience in working with contract terms and reimbursement methods 
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint,WORD, EXCEL and Outlook required 
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, multi-tasking, problem solving capability, creativity, initiative, teamwork skills, public relations and customer service skills required 
  • Fluent (spoken and written) in English
