Senior Manager, Performance Lead 

 

  • You will play a critical leadership role to drive uplifted performance in the Commbank Health Crew & Domain

Do work that matters 

As a Senior Manager, Performance Lead in our Health Crew & Domain, you will act as a trusted partner and advisor to your Technology and Crew Lead. You will ensure alignment of the crew’s outcomes and metrics to the overall strategy of the crew and 3-year plan, playing a key role in articulating our transformation roadmap. 

 

You will be a critical member of your Crew. You will oversee their strategic agenda and track their activities against the implementation of strategy, planning and operations, financial management, workforce management, and risk management. You will play a critical role, partnering around Agile ways of working and quarterly planning. 

 

More specifically you will lead for your Crew: 

  • The quarterly and annual planning cycle, ensuring reporting, risks, issues and dependencies are all delivered in line with our Strategic Planning Process. 

  • Uplift performance by tracking metrics and providing meaningful insights in order to execute interventions to uplift capability and performance. 

  • Develop a workforce strategy and manage the financials - from forecasts and actuals, to budgets and reconciliations. 

 

We’re interested in hearing from people who: 

  • Have experience in transformation of a product or service for customers. Experience in growing a business and/or Business Banking is a bonus 

  • Are customer-obsessed, with proven ability to articulate and drive outcomes for customers 

  • Are strategic thinkers and problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments, and who have a proven background in transformation, strategy, program delivery, strategic planning, or consulting. 

  • Can demonstrate highly developed expertise in analysing data and performance, and dissecting metrics, especially as it relates to growing a business. 

  • Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels, including ability to challenge the status quo. 

  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. 

  • Are results-driven, with a mindset and focus on achieving measurable outcomes and continuous improvement. 

  • Have excellent financial management skills to ensure tracking and monitoring is accurate and maintained at all times. 

  • Display a comprehensive understanding of risk management in complex environments adhering to compliance obligations and developing ‘risk resilient’ cultures. 

  • Understand the workings of the Health, financial services industry and consulting, would be a bonus.
