Job Summary
• This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic business plans and initiatives within the organization. The role involves analyzing market trends, financial data, and operational performance to provide insights and recommendations that drive business growth and efficiency. The role communicates the progress of business plans to multiple stakeholders and ensures that business initiatives/plans align with the strategic objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities
• Conducts and summarizes complex data and business analysis to develop business plans, including revenue and demand projections, workforce optimization, and channel management.
• Constructs statistical and financial models with minimal direction to forecast business performance.
• Executes market research projects, gathers intelligence on current industry, technology, competition, and consumer trends, and summarizes research findings tailored to business needs.
• Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress of business plans; prepares regular reports and presentations for senior management.
• Works with cross-functional teams to facilitate the data collection and performance measurement process, and escalates issues as necessary.
• Makes contributions to research and analysis on priority projects within established guidelines.
• Ensures that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders.
• Communicates the plan and its progress to various stakeholders, including senior management, employees, and external partners.
• Ensures that all business plans and initiatives adhere to legal and ethical standards, monitors regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
• Forwards business plan recommendations based on thorough assessments of potential risks and returns.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
