Trauma & Surgical ICU
Full-Time (3 shifts a week)
7pm-7am

The Trauma and Surgical ICU offers a variety of opportunities for advanced patient care in the region’s only Level I Trauma Center. More than 50% of the patients admitted to the 20-bed unit are multiple trauma patients. There is a large neurosurgery and general surgery patient population. The unit is a fast-paced unit with many opportunities for learning. The physician leadership of the unit are trauma/critical care trained surgeons.


NAs are responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of a nurse. The duties generally include observing patients, recording vital signs, performing EKGs, and reporting changes in patient conditions.


Qualifications:
-Applicant has completed Nurse Aide course and presents Nurse Aide Certification
-PCT certification also acceptable
-Must maintain a current BLS certification from American Heart Association
-CNA/PCT Experience Preferred
