As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering robust, scalable, and secure customer data solutions that support a wide range of projects across our Customer Data Platform.

We are looking for a passionate engineer who thrives in Agile environments and is eager to contribute to the modernisation of our complex data estate.

What will you be doing?

  • Deliver robust and scalable Customer Data solutions across a variety of strategic projects

  • Ensure the platform is secure, high-performing, cost-efficient, and adaptable to evolving business needs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including designers, technical leads, test engineers, DevOps, and agile delivery leads—to deliver high-quality software

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand, articulate, and address technical requirements and challenges

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting best engineering practices within the team

  • Work closely with business teams and scrum teams to ensure smooth delivery of desired outcomes

What we’re looking for?:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development.

  • Proven experience with technologies such as Reltio and/or Spring Boot

  • Experience in Python

  • Experience with modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, SOLID design principles, and Agile delivery.

  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Java.

  • Ability to deliver performant, cost-effective, and secure software solutions.

  • Knowledge of Redshift and Postgres are an advantage

Nice to have:

  • Experience with DevOps tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and supporting languages.

  • Exposure to AWS development and cloud-native architectures.

  • Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to diverse audiences.

  • Experience working closely with designers, technical leads, test engineers, DevOps engineers, and Agile delivery leads in multinational teams.

Leadership and Accountability:

  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance on engineering principles within the team.

  • Calm and logical approach to high-pressure situations, including customer data breach investigations.

  • Ownership of deliverables with a strong focus on risk management and continuous improvement.
