Regional Program Manager
Lead a strategic program of work across Manulife internationally working with a world class team. Looking for candidates with strong Business / IT delivery experience working across Asia / Global remits.
This program will focus on the establishment, transformation and integration of a high priority line of business (end to end) in the Asia segment.
Position Responsibilities:
Direct accountability for multiple workstreams from an IT / SDLC perspective
Responsible for designing, planning and implementing strategic changes that deliver real results
Accountable for program organizational governance processes
People leader of a significantly sized team
Experience in digital and IT delivery transformation across sales, marketing, operations essential in complex environments
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field
8+ years of experience in IT project management
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are advantageous
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint)
Proven track record of managing complex transformation projects, from initiation to closure
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical skills to assess project performance and identify improvement opportunities
Ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions under pressure
Understanding business objectives. Ability to align data projects with broader business goals
Value proposition with skill in articulating the business value of big data initiatives
Experience in agile project management methodologies is a plus
Detail-minded individual with strong sense of responsibility and proactiveness who can work well under pressure and tight schedules
Coordinate between multiple overseas teams and occasional travel may required
